The National Meteorological Information Center has developed the Chinese Global Land Surface Reanalysis System (CRA-40/LAND) by utilizing core technologies such as ensemble assimilation algorithms, multi-source fusion methods, the Noah 3.3 land surface model, and surface parameter optimization. The model operates at a horizontal resolution of Gaussian grid 1152×576 (approximately 34 km) and a temporal resolution of every 3 hours, with four vertical layers (0-0.1 m, 0.1-0.4 m, 0.4-1.0 m, 1.0-2.0 m). This dataset comprises the land surface model products of CRA/LAND, including approximately 30 land surface elements such as surface temperature, soil temperature, soil moisture, fluxes, and snow cover. Evaluations and assessments have confirmed the reliable data quality and the products’ effectiveness in various applications.
